The setting for UM’s Màre ring was originally hand carved from wax, with a particular attention to the form; how it moved, how it felt on, and how it would marry with the stone. Like so much of what jeweler Kate Jones's creates, this ring's shape is meant to suggest a contemporary antiquity, a piece that is new, yet feels like it's already spent a lifetime with you. The rare and intoxicating blue Indicolite is set in this ring, known to promote s erenity, empathy, and honesty. Indicolite, being a sapphire, is also the birthstone of the month of October.
