Il Bussetto uses natural dyes that are absorbed by leather hides in varying degrees. In some cases, color transfer will occur when the item is in direct contact with materials or garments of a lighter shade, especially in the presence of humidity.

Dyed leather goods are susceptible to veins, contrasting tones, imperfections in the grain, scratching and abrasions, and fading in areas of greatest wear. Should dull spots appear, wipe with a soft dry cloth or use a small amount of neutral color leather cream to restore. Avoid using water, alcohol, or detergents when cleaning.

To ensure long term use of your Il Bussetto goods, avoid leaving them in the sun, and keep away from water and humidity. For storage, wrap in a clean cloth to allow the leather to breathe freely.

Il Bussetto | Il Bussetto was founded in 2004 by Mauro Gobbi in Milano. After many years spent in the leather trade and in the production of leather goods, he was attracted by a unique and special Tuscan leather craft technique. This distinctive method allows the production of small leather goods moulded on wooden modes and devoid of any seams.
