In one of his famously posed paradoxes, the 5th century B.C.E. thinker Zeno of Elea attempted to reconcile the existence of infinity with the finite. The Zeno Hoops' simple repetition suggests boundlessness with antique coral beads placed between coils of 22K gold tendrils.
