The setting for UM’s Màre ring was originally hand carved from wax, with a particular attention to the form; how it moved, how it felt on, and how it would marry with the stone. Like so much of what jeweler Kate Jones's creates, this ring's shape is meant to suggest a contemporary antiquity, a piece that is new, yet feels like it's already spent a lifetime with you. The transcendent Aquamarine, is known to promote tranquility, clarity and trust, rebirth and transformation. Aquamarine is also the birthstone of the month of March.
