Situated on a farmstead established 1820 in Pembroke, Maine, Smithereen Farm is now in its 6th growing season under the stewardship of Farmers Severine + Terran. The farm is arranged along the crest of the hill overlooking Cobscook Bay, with plantings ‘ on contour’ in the agro-forestry style with vegetable gardens in between. Orchards of Apples, cherries, plums, persimmon, quince, pears, apricots, chestnuts, various nuts and other small fruits and medicinal herbs are grown and made into their delightful products and sold at local farmers markets. In addition to their productive farm, they offer an array of camping sites and host dozens of agro-tourism events in conjunction with their sister organization The Greenhorns each year.
